Campbell Man Convicted of Posing as a Teenager to Obtain Nude Photos

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - A Campbell man who pleaded guilty to stealing a teen’s identity to entice other teens to send him pornographic or inappropriate material was sentenced Tuesday in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court to 15 to 19 years in prison.
Judge R. Scott Krichbaum handed down the sentence to Gerald Hamilton, 49, who pleaded guilty Aug. 20 to 2 counts of child endangerment, a second-degree felony; pandering to sexual materials involving a minor, a fourth-diploma felony; corrupting one other with drugs, a felony of the fourth diploma; two counts of unlawful use of a minor in nudity-oriented materials, felonies of the fifth degree; and a fifth-degree felony depend of identity fraud.
The sentence was recommended by prosecutors and affirmed by Judge Krichbaum.
